Kia Ora!
This Blog documents the 6 months I spent living in Dunedin, New Zealand. I moved to New Zealand in October, 2008, to live with my then boyfriend who was a Biology post-doc at the University of Otago. We had planned on spending 3 years there, but life doesn't always go according to plan. To make a long story short, I left New Zealand (and my boyfriend) 6 months later. It was just time to move on.
Living in New Zealand was an adventure of a lifetime and even with all the ups and downs of living abroad, I wouldn't change a thing. I traveled all over the South Island, saw some amazing animals, forests, beaches, rock formations, and rainbows, met some wonderful people, experienced new language, food, music, holidays and culture, lived outside my comfort zone and learned a lot about myself in the process. New Zealand truly is a spectacular country and I look forward to traveling there again someday.
